Same info. Production date is 1/15/21 and status is in production. I am a little bummed. Not sure what’s really going on. I am hoping it is built and just not updated. Seems unusual for a car to be “In Production” for so long.

This tells me your car was done on the 14th. At least that's the pattern for most. On it's sitting somewhere in Mx. Mine has been in that same blackhole for a while longer than yours.

I would also like to add-That right there is what makes this site invaluable. How many members have gotten the primary information about their cars right here. I just hope we all remember that when we’re riding the lightning. Oh sh!t-That just gave me a new idea for a plate-MJOLNIR. My previous choice for a Grabber Blue FE was SNCHDGHG

Funny...my Mach Drop was produced before yours (1/9) also coming to Seattle, but not shipped and no update after that. Wish we had a little more clarity with the logistics on how that makes sense.

That means it got built on the 15th same as mine and mine changed to awaiting shipment only today so hopefully yours will too.

No clue on either plate.

Ride the Lightning... Metallica.... then what??!

I wish your grabber blue plate had something to do with Smurfs. But I can't get anything to work.

So my dealer tells me mine was done on the 14th (started build on 7th, which was different from Ford account which oringally listed the 17th then moved to the 10th) and awaiting shipment and then today I get notice via tracker it was done on the 22nd with no clue as to shooing.

This has been one of the most discombobulated experiences of my consumer life. Ford has been a disaster IMHO. I understand times are different and difficult but Ford pit the tracker out there and set expectations that the consumer would be informed at most steps along the way. If you can’t live up to the expectations that you create, I have no sympathy for you when you can’t get your stuff together. This has soured me so much on Ford, no matter how much I enjoy this vehicle, i doubt I’ll ever order from Ford again. I might buy off the lot which I’ve done on my last 4 vehicles but never order again.

I'd probably tie it more to pre-ordering a first year model, especially one that's dramatically different than normal, and using a brand new hybrid reservation system.

I betcha if you were buying a 2022 Mach-E, this would be 500% cleaner.

I'm also guessing other automakers go through similar fits and starts working the kinks out of a brand new process and dramatic change from their norm.

That's not to totally excuse Ford here. I agree there's a number of things in this process (even if brand new) that should have been communicated better. But I think it will be WAY better in year 2. And without a pandemic. The main problem for all of us here is choosing to be an early adopter, in a bad time.

Ride the lightning is most definitely a Metallica reference but to go along with ride the lightning, Mjolnir is the name of Thor’s hammer. The god of thunder. And for the grabber blue SNCHDGHG is sonic the hedgehog. That was my go to.

I would say there is a good chance we see some mache movement this week being shipped.

Cars go on Rail to KC. From that point they get loaded onto trucks. You should see an update at that point.
