I recall someone else having a similar issue. There is a thread where you can share your VIN and members can check to see if you have any error codes. Something odd is going on with your GOM. I am sure Nothing is draining and you can go by the mi/kW and battery percentage for more of a reality check. However having the amber display would be disconcerting.

Let me add to that that it will still display for example 65% charge but only 49 miles available when only minutes before it showed 65% charge with 156 miles available.
Which battery do you have? Standard or extended? And when was the last time you charged to 100%?

I have a standard battery and maybe about a month ago I charge to 100% to take a trip but I usually charge to 90%

If you have Carscanner, can you go to the dashboard pictured below?

Capture a screenshot at some SOC when the car is behaving normally.
And then capture the screen, hopefully at a similar SOC, but with the GOM being out-of-whack, so to speak.

I'd be really curious what the circled values would be.

I don’t have a car scanner. I wouldn’t know where to get one or what it is. What type of car scanner would it be or could work? I’ll be willing to get one.

If you look at the Carscanner information in white circles, those values are not going to be reflected anywhere inside the car, or in FordPass.

What I'm curious about is how much deviation in voltage there is between HVB modules. If the deviation is miniscule, then at least you could relax that your issue isn't a HVB cell failure.

Carscanner is an app for smartphones.

And has a rather robust set of dashboards for the Mach-E, reconfigured.

Temperature will never decrease the range by 66% and temperature decrease should not be a problem in southern Florida. Something is not right with the GOM.

Carscanner is the name of the app people are using with an OBD 2 dongle. The question is what OBD to buy.

I have 3 of OBDLink's products.

The EX
The LX (most recent)
The MX-+

The EX is awesome for Forscan and refresh rates. But nobody wants a USB cable draped across the cockpit continuously.

The LX is in my Mach-E
The MX is in my F150 Powerboost

Both work great.

OK that means you have the LFP battery, you NEED to charge it to 100% at least once a month so the battery capacity can calibrate (see owner's manual). Otherwise you'll have the problem you have now with the range or state of charge suddenly dropping.

Charge it to 100% overnight and see if that fixes it.

Thank you very much. I will do that. I will also post if it fixes it or if it reoccurs in the future.
