MACH-E GT vs any other E.V.?

I have a 2023 Mach-E Premium lease, I have 3 months left. Thinking of purchasing a 2023 or 2024 GT Model when my lease is up. Has anyone gone from a Premium Model to a GT, is driving the GT Model going to be a game changer in terms of fun to drive etc, or would you consider a different EV completely. I have been driving 2025 Tesla Model 3 rental for a while, I like it, and it performs better than my Premium Mach-E, but I think I would get bored after a while, the Mach-E just seems more like a I.C. "car." Anyway, what do you GT owners think about the GT. Research also indicates I should not consider the "Performance" model, too hard of a ride etc? thanks.

Yes and yes. A definite game changer.

The GT is more comfortable, faster (by a lot), and feels more nimble / lighter. I had a 22 Premium Awd ER and it drove okay. The GT actually drives very nicely. It is very easy to live with. The seats are way more comfortable than a premium.

I have the performance upgrade and p0 summer tires in good weather and x-ice tires in winter. Both are great for what they are designed for. I drive exclusively on unbridled with 1pd (summer and winter). I tried whisper and find that the ride is unsettled especially with 700 lb-ft available to me (which I use worth a speeding ticket or two a year).

I’m looking to upgrade the suspension soon with Rally springs and Eibach bars. We’ll see how much difference that makes.

Yes and yes. A definite game changer.

It's so subjective.
But I do think you will find the experience difference far from subtle. Magnaride isn't subtle, nor is the additional torque at your request

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that is not the popular belief out there. The MME pulls some serious Gs, beat only by Lamborghini Urus! The 24s with better thermal management than earlier models are very fast and a lot of fun to drive.

Just go drive it and see for yourself.

I upgraded from a First Edition to a GT, and I think it was worth it.

I will say I only did it because I was able to trade in the FE in a time when used car values were very inflated and was able to do it with almost no extra cost, plus a 2nd tax credit.

I've not owned a Premium, but I test drove (and ordered) a Premium. But while I was waiting (and waiting, and...............) I test drove a GT and OMG!! I can't imagine not having at least the GT were I ever to buy another Mach E. But if I was seriously considering buying a new Mach E, I'd spring for the Rally, minus the spoiler and stripes. I have Rally springs on my 2022 GT and they have made a huge difference. To me, the Rally should be the sweet spot (though I'll admit I've not driven one and don't plan to because I don't want to be tempted to upgrade ).

My GT didn't drive like a bus. How ridiculous.

Regardless of your decision, you should replace the sway bars to really move the performance up a level.

Get the 24 with Performance Upgrade (Magnaride suspension, no limiter).

I went from a 21 Premium to a 23 GTPE. Absolutely love the difference. Lost the kick to open and the auto park (worthless). Highly recommend but my idea of fun-to-drive may be different than yours.
