I'm not sure if Options is offered in Canada (though a lease would be?), perhaps if the issue is what the vehicle will look like in a number of years while being OK the first few years, the way to go about is to do Options or a lease instead of outright buying it?A second on this being a Bondo repair. The rear quarter panel is typically structural. It's a massive job to replace it. This will be hammered out, sculpted with filler, and repainted. It might look good for a few years, but in a decade it will have an obviously different color, texture and perhaps corrosion.
This is a tough situation. That car is going to be repaired and sold as new. If you don't accept it, it's going to someone else. With the supply shortage, it's probably going to sell with ADM. The dealer is going to profit now and still have your order as a future sale. Ford isn't likely to help.
