I actually like the Gen 2 Volt a lot. I mostly blame GM for cancelling that one, presumably it was because they weren't making money on them but I think PHEVs in general are a better option for a lot of people. They are selling for good money on the used market.Hey now, I am actually selling my first year model Chevy Volt for this Mustang Mach E. Yes, GM did an awful job at marketing that car and should have emphasized its PHEV characterics more. But GM did take very good care of me as a first year/early adopter customer, which sounds like some of the folks who did the same with the Mach E didn't enjoy. I had GM Engineers calling me on any little matter, even if related to faulty public charging stations. Heck they even sent me a very nice scale model of the Volt. To be fair, Ford has done some similar things as an early Bronco owner but obviously that is a little different since we are dealing with new technology here.
