Impressive

Goes from 0-60-0 in less time than it takes a GT to hit limp mode

The Rimac Nevera also costs something like $2.4 million... a Model S Plaid comes within striking distance while being a more affordable option (relatively speaking).

And Porsche is messing around with synthetic fuel, trying to keep ICE alive. Granted, part of their publicized reasoning is maritime and aeronautic transport, where electric propulsion is severely disadvantaged. ?‍♂?

I’m missing where the “vs” comes in.

About as good of a comparison as “Mach E vs bicycle,” although the bicycle is much closer in price.

The fact that the Porsche had a head start makes this even more absurd. I needs to drive this car.

I like the Top Gear video as well.

And, um, yah. There is no comparison to the Nevera. Period. The Plaid does not come close. Not when the Nevera holds 23 records all set in the same day (which is also a record). But again $2,400,000! It better set records. The Jay Leno video on the car interviews one of the guys from Rimac. Fascinating stuff.

Yes it’s fast for a production car, but the price is absurd.

If you want to own a car that’s as fast (drag racing) you can actually do so for quite cheap.

$28,00 example-

A nicer $100k example-

Or for $215k you could leave it in the dust….. and still have a couple million dollars leftover.

Now while we are talking records…….

348 mph in 3.66 seconds-

A guy in my town bought 2 MiG-21s. I don’t know what he paid, but I hear they’re pretty fast! It’s neat to see them sitting at our little airport.
