Chevy updated their website to include a new side profile of an LT trim Equinox EV. Not sure if it's the contrasting roof, but it doesn't look as sharp as the previous renders. One thing of note is the flush door handles. ETA September 2023

I was thinking of adding a reservation for the 3RS Equinox but it won't be available until Fall 2024. Height is about 63.5 inches...curious how it compares to the Blazer EV which looks lower?

Ventilated front seats… sigh. Hey Ford. Are you paying attention? Even GM’s “door buster special” manages to have them. How much do you wanna bet they have proper power seats (fore and aft tilt) too?

I really dislike the contrasting blue/white. However I love the 11" driver instrument display + 17.7" touchscreen + physical button infotainment combination that GM is installing in its EVs.

Not horrible looking but not stand out remarkable either (like the Lyriq). It reminds me of late model Toyota Venzas. Of course all of that, the price and getting the tax credit back add up to a formula for mass adoption.

Looks like a strong competitor for the base id4.

I had noticed this before on the Lyriq/Blazer, but surprised that even the Equinox is getting 6-lug wheels apparently. Makes me wonder what the curb weight will be on this thing. I know the Lyriq is up to a half ton heavier than the Mach-E.

Wait, the MME does not have ventilated front seats ?

My Lightning does and I use it 365 days a year due to the hot climate I am in...

Ford said perforated seats are good enough for you.

If GM can keep the price of the Equinox EV in the $30-40k range then I think they'll have a hit on their hands.

Well, it IS a door-buster special. Sort of like those $99 70” TVs you see at Walmart on Black Friday. Trust me - there will be a “gotcha”. Range, performance, reliability, quality, something. GM isn’t making and selling a volume EV as a loss leader.
