Thank you for posting. If this is correct, (I don't doubt it) GM has killed it. Very few will sell.
GM, if possible, get rid of Federal tax credit, price below 40k more units will sale.
GM has not been paying attention as to who, and why buys Equinox.

The $34k version of the vehicle is supposed to be available in 2024 per GM. As we all know, the $34k vehicle will likely end up having an additional 5 or 10k tacked onto to the price by the dealers. We also know that GM is still having a hard time ramping up production for their Ultium based vehicles. So we're not likely to see significant numbers for these vehicles.

And from the Lyriq/Blazer videos, the charging speed will likely be in the 60 kW region through the charging session. Definitely staying away!

I wouldn't trust that site... they pull numbers out of their head. Yes a bunch of Lyriqs were held at the plant but these numbers were pure fantasy like much of the news from that site.

Not a fan of the Equinox or Blazer EV. They look longer than the Mach-e. Plus, no frunk in the Equinox or Blazer. And no CarPlay, a deal breaker for me. But, I did see review of Equinox and Blazer and did like the instrumentation screen and the infortainment screen.

Oh, that goes way back. The 1935 A1, what became Toyota, had a reverse engineered 1933 Chevy Master engine. The chassis and electrics were Ford.

I have seen a couple of these in person and was very surprised at how much they look like the 2024 Chevy Trax. That's a $65K+ SS Versus a $25k Trax

Similar corporate designs for the front and rear. Blazer interior is more premium and it's a bigger vehicle.

My son bought a 24 Trax. It’s a nice vehicle at a great price.

If the Equinox turns out like an electrified 24 Trax, that can be purchased for $38k with AWD, and goes almost 300 miles on a charge, it should be good for GM.

I turned down my Blazer EV (I was very early in line), because I couldn't get it with Supercruise - just not an option for the early production models…

I have a friend with a Lyriq and another with the Hummer EV, and they're both super happy with the purchase, so I’m not fearful of the platform.
