Honestly, I wouldn’t buy a new Mach E at this point. I’d find a ‘22 or ‘23 with some of its original 36k warranty left and save a bundle of cash.
That's why leasing makes so much sense right now. You'll be able to get a new car after the refresh and let other people work out the bugs for a year (assuming that timeline holds). Plus no deprecation hit.
This is exactly what I just did. Got a '22 GT with almost a year of the 3/36 left for a 50k discount off the original sticker. So much more value over new. I know the newer cars are a bit cheaper now than the '22s, but they still will take a huge depreciation hit the first couple years.

Totally agree. I think we’re 5-6 years out from something meaningfully better - by which I mean materially better battery/charging tech. But that’s all the more reason to buy lightly used during this middle period. There are screaming good values. People buying new during this middle period - well they’ve either got the money to burn or they’re not making the wisest choice.
