Hello, new member here. Was lucky enough to put my name on an abandoned Grabber Blue GT order (with a black roof) this week in the Atlanta area. The Ford tracker shows an estimated delivery for 9/22. Fingers crossed it's not much later as we're currently without a car. My wife and I are excited to be Mustang Mach-e owners and I hope to get her over the line with the GB color

Welcome to the forum. The fact that your order is not marked built and has not shipped yet is a bit concerning. It is probably on hold waiting for a computer module of some type.

The good news is that we've seen the first Mach-E GT delivered a couple weeks ahead of it's schedule date, so your date could simply be a better estimate. Also on your side in that Atlanta happens to be a city that is serviced by a direct train route from the assembly plant in Mexico. There's no guarantee your vehicle will be delivered there directly, but it seems like the chances should be good. At that point it would theoretically be just a short truck drive away from the dealership. The Mach-Es that arrive the quickest are often those that are shipped in that manner.

Edit: I was able to lookup your info and check palsapp. Indeed, your first stop will be Atlanta:

Mine was produced on 8/11 but was sent offsite for a microchip hold. ETA of 10/7 which I have no idea if I can trust. I did not get the 6 week delay email.

My GT has been sitting "produced" since the 9th, with chip hold removed, and no further progress. Not sure why they can't get these finished cars moving.

My GTPE in CO had a build date of Aug 9 and I got the 6 week delay letter. Ford shows me a delivery ETA of Oct 5. I can't find any info in palsapp with my VIN telling me where my car actually is. Any other ways to figure this out? .... or should I just continue to refresh my tracker pages every 5 minutes, and keep searching for that one rapid red that was delivered to post his teased videos already to YouTube so I have something to obsess over for a month?

Everything you're saying is as expected according to my timeline. There's no way your VIN would show anything in palsapp yet because that doesn't happen until your car hits KC which for my GT took exactly 1 month from production date. My 7/17 production date didn't show as in transit until ~2.5 weeks after it was built and my estimated delivery date at that point was 4-5 weeks out. IMO there's no reason to think you're not still on track for around October 5th, though no one should consider any of these dates to be firm and personally I'd give everything a week or two of wiggle room before even thinking that it might be "late."

Has your status changed from "In Production" to "In Transit"? Were you given a release date, shipment date and transit date?

If the answer to either of those questions is "no", then palsapp won't tell you where your vehicle is. Instead, you can be sure it is still sitting at the plant or a holding lot in Mexico either waiting to be finished (typically due to a shortage of semiconductors) or waiting for an available rail car to take it to KC.

Thanks for the reply .... alas my status is still in production, so I'll bide my time looking at Google Maps satellite view of the plant's parking lot, imagining one of the vehicles in the parking lot is painted cyber orange....

My status is in production 8/14 as well with a delivery ETA of 10/2. Status hasn't changed to in transit and there is no shipment or transit date. Palsapp states city of origin is New Castle Delaware. Is there a direct train that goes there from Mexico? Fearing that I will be in for an even more extended wait.
