This problem sounds like it might be a low or faulty 12V battery. When you take it in, I suggest you ask the dealership when the battery was last replaced.
Yes it does, I replaced and tested mine on my own. Sounds like u got a old or defective 12v.

I'll certainly ask them. You would think they would look at that as part of certifying it but maybe not.

FYI, just because the 12 V battery light is on during a stop safely now, does not mean the 12 V battery is the cause of the problem. It could be the HVBJB.
yes I was thinking that too. The same one that was recall replaced to prevent it from happening.

Yeah, typically when 12v dies you cant get in the door. Sounds like the hvjb.
I’m hoping that’s still covered under powertrain warranty or the recall?

I am in a similar situation.
Going back and forth with a local dealer whether replacing the HVJB is covered by the HVB warranty. Anyways this is in my warranty booklet:
"The high voltage battery and eDrive
systems of your vehicle are covered by
the Electric Vehicle Component coverage
for eight years or 160,000 kilometres,
whichever comes first. High voltage
battery and eDrive components covered
by this warranty include the high voltage
battery assembly, Bussed Electrical
Center (BEC), battery energy control
module (BECM), on-board charger,
inverter system controller (ISC), DC/DC
converter, and eDrive. "

I think it should be covered.

The dealer doesn't need to question it, they put it in their system and it tells them yes or no if it's covered

In a normal world, yes.
I had my car plugged and charging, then got a " Charging Error" msg on my app. Unplugged it, tried to start only to have "Stop Safely Now" and Full Accessory Power Active" come up. My 12 V was around 90% SOC and the HVB 82% SOC with 94% SOH at 114000 kms on it. Had to tow it to the dealership where it took them couple days to look at it. They went from replacing the entire HVB under warranty, to have me pay for replacing the "NK4Z 10C666 E - BEC High Voltage B", to see if they can replicate the error on Monday, and see what the problem really is. One of the worst experience in my life. My car has been sitting there almost a week now.

The HVBJB is absolutely part of the electric power train covered by the 8yr/100k warranty. This is not in question.

It sounds to me like the OP has some problem with the electric power train. Doubtful is is the 12v based on what he is describing. Eventually, I would think Ford makes this right under warranty and provides some compensation for the additional towing frustration - reach out to customer service to open a ticket on that once the underlying issue is resolved. This will all be a headache in the rear mirror eventually, but it’s gonna take some more frustration in the short term.

Looks like that’s probably what is is as these alerts suddenly popped up on the Ford app this morning which means they probably started working on the car already.

I hope they can resolve your issue. My car was supposed to go in for service today but came out to the "stop safely now" and "full accessory power" messages along with pretty much all the other dashboard messages it can give. Waiting for Ford roadside assistance to tow it in now. What a joke. This is the last Ford product I'll ever buy.

Yes it was replaced sometime in 2024
If it's the HVBJB, that's another "yeah, the new part still fails" that I don't like seeing.

So, what was the final answer? Did the dealership fix the problem?
