Here's the issue that Ford has, IMO.Hopefully Ford switches to a different adapter supplier (such as A2Z) to help fulfill their customer orders. I've suggested this to them months ago. Tesla appears unable to fulfill their commitment and won't respond.
Blame Musk.
Ford has a deal with Elmo to use his chargers. Elmo doesn't allow any 3rd party anything. If Ford pisses off Elmo, Elmo turns off the switch. "No he won't do that" doesn't work with Elmo. He does whatever he wants. Ford, GM, ... - none of them can take that chance.
Yes. Several have reported them overheating in hot weather and shutting down the session. A2ZEV has no issue with heat. https://a2zevshop.com/products/nacs-ccs1?ref=Typhoon&variant=43186507579592Has anyone used the Lectron adapter?
There's a discounted package from Lectron that includes the adapter and a 48amp charger for $519.00.
Useful thoughts on the value of this package would be greatly appreciated.
