While I don't have much faith in Ford as a brand overall; @Gimme_my_MME I do put a larger amount of trust in and if he says it's coming I imagine we just have to sit and wait. Likely not in time for your appointment though.

I had to bring my car in for the dreaded "front camera fault" blah...blah...blah (still dealing with that), and I just simply asked the service manager for an extra fob. He provided it without any fuss whatsoever.

They don’t know how to look up a Ford CSP?

They eventually say they did... but then they gave me a print out by VIN of updates eligible for my car... so they probably didn't actually figure it out.

Picked up my MME GT on 7/30. I was pleasantly surprised when the dealer brought out a second key fob and didn't charge me for it. There was no extra price in the paperwork and I wasn't about to complain.

On the "I didn't know that" topic, each fob can be linked to a driver profile. Meaning, the wife and I can use different fobs and Blucifer will recall our profiles based on our fobs. I'm cool with that. We just have to make sure we are only carrying one key when we are both in the car.

The driver's FOB will be selected if both are in the car.

Yes, US customers with build date before June 7th 2021 can get a second fob. Here is the bulletin:

Since I purchased a 2nd one at $90 + $100 programming. I don't need a 3rd one. But the new ones have a matching black badge instead of the generic chrome one. Decisions, decisions...refund or 3rd fob

I want one with a frunk button though. Is that the one in the bulletin (164-R8319). I can't find any info on what the fob we're being provided looks like.

The 2022 MME fob should be essentially identical to the 2021. It's the EU keys you're after, and they don't work on our vehicles.

Same here. But I really don't want to have to bring the car in for programming, so I'm hoping the dealer will be willing to just give me the fob.

I saved my Ford points in hopes of a FOB with a Frunk button being offered before they expire. I am known for my optimism. Maybe I won’t even need to use them for that now. Maybe I will be getting a second FOB -with a Frunk button just for being a satisfied customer. I’m going to hold out for that one.
