This report comes to us from Automotive News, which notes that the Ford Mustang Mach-E is now slated to undergo a comprehensive makeover in 2027 – one that includes not only a redesign in terms of exterior styling and features, but also, the addition of a new platform as well. The same report claims that the Mach-E lineup will continue to expand to include new “derivatives and special editions,” though it will continue to be built at the Cuautitlan Assembly plant in Mexico.

Hurray! IIRC the Mach E came out about a year after the Model Y. Rumor in Tesla-land that a new refresh version is coming out in 2025.
It would great for a refreshed MME in 2026. But 2027 is fine. Wonder if Ford will also create a PHEV version.

Once again the naysaying and gnashing of teeth suddenly gets flipped on its ear.

If there's anything that has become obvious about predicting the future these days, it's don't do it. At least don't type in ink. ?

Of course even this latest news can change before it's all said and done, but I think the Mach-E believers were due a dose of cheer.
