Some of the modules have multiple applications, so have more than one strategy listed. It seems FDRS picks one for display in the module part numbers list. If you select a module in the list and look below the list, the DIDs (PIDs) for the module are displayed.

On my MME the IPMA or ADAS module has these part numbers as strategies. It was updated with Power-Up 2.5.1
Strategy [F188] ML3T-14H102-ABS
Strategy [F120] ML3T-14H102-MDM
Strategy [F121] NL1T-14H102-SBD
Strategy [F122] ML3T-14H102-GAP
Assembly [DA01] LJ8T-14G647-FT

As you can see both -MDM and -GAP are in the list.

The current module revisions for my RWD ER MME.

Update 4/22/22

Just got back. Called the dealer to see what the status was. They said they’ve been working in it between appointments since Monday but has had no luck. They’ve been talking to FoMoCo about the issue. Still no luck. They had a little bit of an attitude with us about it. No phone calls or texts with updates on what is going on. So I’m going to pick it up. Not even going to fool with it.

I fell they just didn’t want to mess with it. Since I dropped it off for my APPOINTMENT last Friday and they told me FDRS was down. I knew it was going to be trouble from then on.

@Ford Motor Company this is insane and unprofessional at this point.

AND they kept calling it “Blue Drive”

Just finished the 4th round of working on @Shaggyrn car.

SUCCESS!
20220420_201422.jpg

Basically all I did today was go through and do a PMI operation on the modules involved in the BC update series.

The CMR and IPC then updated to show the versions that other cars had and it worked first try on the test drive!

I'll get some data together and post some version levels to look for that are known to work correctly.
@benk016 My Mach E is in the same boat as @Shaggyrn . The only difference is my Active Cruise Control and Lane Centering is working. You mentioned getting some data together and posting some version levels to look for that are known to work correctly. Did you share those version levels? If so, I missed it.

So... the dealer called on Wednesday saying a special engineer was coming in on Friday and let them try again....

I had planned to do the update myself in FDRS, today but I thought why not. I'll let them try.

In summary, Day 11 no BC. The dealer has spent all day again trying to do the last two modules for BC (GWM and APIM) and can't get them to work. They want me to leave it till tomorrow.

my plan is to call them mid day tomorrow... if nobody is working on it, I'll pick it up and start the updates myself on Sunday. Sooo disappointing.

Today, I had my Mach E in for the third time in the last three weeks. I still don't have Blue Cruise. I have the Sync 364 update, Active Cruise Control, and Lane Centering. I also have the hands-free options in the settings, including the October expiration listed.

After the first week at the dealer, I had the Blue Cruise pop up saying Blue Cruise was active, but then it would disappear. I also had the enabled driver attention monitoring camera with the distraction messaging to "watch the road." I was at Sync ver 358, so I didn't have the hands-free options for lane centering and adaptive cruise control.

The second week my car was at the dealer, it was updated to Sync ver 364, and it then showed the hands-free options for lane centering and adaptive cruise control. However, the disappearing Blue Cruise pop-up and "watch the road" warnings were now missing.

That is where I am as of today. I picked my car up and now waiting for the technician to speak with Ford engineers again "some time" next week. The technician told me the Service Department manager is so fed up that they will not schedule any more Mache Es for the Blue Cruise updates. They are committed to getting my Mach E updated, but that is all. Even though Ford is paying for the update, they are spending more hours to update than Ford is paying.

I suggested to the technician he needed to remind his Service Department Manager that dealing with early adopter Mach E owners who are a little more patient when dealing with software updates will be different from dealing with early adopters of the Ford Lightning. These service departments better get ready.

I am in exact same boat as you. I just got my car back from the dealership after 14 days of programming and still no bluecruise.

Dealer asked to wait until Ford engineers respond via email. WTH

@Blue highway Let us know if your update process is successful. Please record a video if you can. Thanks

Hi all, first post here. I have been following for a while. After the first 3 day trip to the dealer, the car came back with Sync 344 and lane keeping not working. Just spent another 3 days where the tech performed "all updates." Sync is still at 344 but lane keep works again. The last power-up I received was 2.1.0. Can someone run my VIN?

Not good. Ford needs dedicated EV shops, like a Geek Squad for software updates. It’s only gonna get more complicated for dealers going forward with Lightning coming out.

Update 4/32/22

Just went and got the car. General manager just happened to be there and overheard the same service guy we spoke to yesterday get condescending with us again today. As we were walking out the GM stopped us and talked to us. He wasn’t happy with the way he talked to us.

They never got blue cruise to work or “blue drive” as they kept calling it. ?

I do have SYNC 364

I can tell something’s are different.
Lane Centering is better

Another update:

Just got a call from the owner of the dealership. He literally said “they only get paid for two hours when working on the kind of updates. So they weren’t getting paid to work with it”

So clearly these dealerships aren’t getting paid to deal with this stuff so they don’t want to and they get away with it.

That’s direct from the OWNER of the DEALERSHIP

@Ford Motor Company you need to fix this. It’s a broken system.

The Ford motor company person here isn't empowered to do anything, they just open customer support cases, nothing else

This program allows for up to 8 hours of pay from Ford. Plus the 30 minutes for the test drive. They should probably re-read the bulliten.
