Orange Battery Indicator Fordpass

Hey,

Did anyone know why the battery is showing as orange? I cannot find what the colors mean. It has always been green until today.

Mine has never been any color but the same blue as the font on the page, so I don’t have a clue why you would have green or orange. ?‍?

Maybe turns orange when target charges reached for a period of time? No idea. Never noticed on mine but not saying it doesn’t.

Weird. I’d assume that means some sort of error or battery health issue but I’d also hope you’d have a notification about it too. So I’d don’t think it’s that.

Also interesting that I now know what those arrows doin the top corner. They’ve never worked for me on iOS. It’s always small mode. Not sure if that’s normal for others too.

Mine shows an orange indication when I get below a certain level of charge.

It's not orange anymore lol... I have left it plugged in because it's before freezing here. Should I unplug it for a little bit? There's snow in the ground and I don't feel like driving when it's like that.

I think @bbhaag has it- I saw a setting somewhere the other day (vague enough for you?) about an alert when the battery was below a certain % (I think it was set at 30%?). Could be yours is set high so it's showing orange even at 80%?

Might something related to distance to known public charger? Orange if you are too far from potential chargers, or nearing a limit?

Maybe an update to the app? But the fact that nobody here (including me) can figure out what orange indicates probably means that whatever change they made wasn't well thought out. It could be as simple as 'orange stands out more than blue'.
