Mine did they too, it took a few days but now recognizes it's Mach E

Yes. Not only did they figure out it’s a Mach E, they got the color right

I just got my email this morning:

We are excited to let you know your 2021 Mustang Mach-E Premium has been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of January 18 2021.

To give you all some context, I never had a reservation. I placed my order online on 06/29/2020. I was hoping to have the car this year for tax purposes, but knew it was highly unlikely. I can live with a January production date now that I know.

Then why where we waiting in line when cars ordered only in june or july are now going through wether you are from US or Canada. No I'm not happy at all but yes happy for those getting theirs build. ?

I wish the GB looked like that. I'd have probably chosen that color. But most of the pics I see show it looking like this instead:

Having reserved within a day of the launch, I'm bummed to seemingly be a month or two behind most.

Really shocked your build date is a week after mine. I reserved in June 2020... just doesn't seem right.

True, it is a bit lighter than I generally prefer but it's a great, bright blue.
One of my favorite shots of it confirmed that it's bright in any light.

With all the speculation and confusion on timing, reservation numbers, etc...this ends up being pretty close to what I'd been thinking since Spring (based on info from the forum, thanks ChasingCoral). I'm in no rush, so timing is fine with me. I'm just thrilled to have a date!

Thanks for all the great information @trutolife27. We've all been muddling through the Dark Ages of little information together and we can see Mach E headlights at the end of the tunnel.

That - its bright in any lighting and looks consistent color for most part - I really like that in the GB color.

Definitely lighter than those. For me it's just the shade and the depth of color. I love that first one. Looks more metallic, has more depth, and even has a hint of green in it. But the 2nd is much flatter, and more baby blue.

But it's just a personal preference thing. I know some just love the GB. Definitely stands out.

I really wish Ford had offered the MME in Velocity Blue.
