OTA Power-Up 2.1.0 is out

Just chiming in that I got 2.1.0 today on my July build. They seem to be picking up pace on these updates because I only recently got 1.7.1 last month, so, this is a good sign!

Ok, I know I’m going to sound crazy, but after I received the update (which happened while I was in a store for 20 minutes) the car definitely felt like it accelerated “harder”. Like I was getting thrown back into the seat even more than usual. This was all in unbridled mode, never changed it out.

I know this isn’t what happened and is likely placebo effect, but at the same time, Ford has proven they can be so all over the place with/at software that something in this minor update could have changed acceleration lol

Also, Safari seems snappier.

I don’t think you are wrong, I had been driving in Whisper all day today and then we went mini golfing for two hours and came back and the update had installed and acceleration is definitely faster in Whisper at least. Maybe we’re both just in the same Matrix simulation.

I haven't got 1.7.1 yet. I had the 21P22 updates apples a few weeks ago but still no 1.7.1 let alone 2.1.0. what gives?

No. OTA 1.7.1 is a Sync update. There’s a TSB for installing it at the dealer, but it’s not part of 21P22.

I too had the stuck 1.7.1 updates which turned off my automatic updates and version number changed to --. Took it to the dealership and they kept trying to update it, but said they all failed and they couldn't get it to update. I called Ford, they sent me to marketing (which seems like the wrong department for software sync issues) and they said I'd have to wait for the next OTA update which would fix everything.

Then a few days after I just took it back from the dealer (who said they updated 24 things not including the 21F22 or whatever which was already done) the version seems different than what I've had before. But i didn't get a notification of any update. Can anyone tell me which version I've actually got?

Our MME is about 35 miles away having the glass recalls done. When the OTA update happens do you get a push notification either in the app or on the dash or do you have to open up the screen and drill down to see the version. The last time I did that, all I could see was something like “Your software is up to date, no version. Where do I see that it’s been updated when it comes home to its Wifi garage?

I noticed the download icon when I arrived home tonight, and thought it was for 1.7.1 since I turned auto updates off. I was surprised to see it is for 2.1.0, so I started the download. Hopefully this will work better.

I'm not sure why, But my Horn/Lights button shows up without Bluetooth connected like 50% of the time. I haven't figured out what makes it available, and what makes it not available yet.

First time I’ve noticed it on without BT. maybe something with the current FordPass server debacle
