Post to a local GMC dealer that is selling a 2022 GT gray on gray similar to mine with only 16,000 miles for 38,000. What a depreciation so sad.

Only if you plan on getting rid of it soon. Who knows what the value will be in the future? I don't care because I plan on keeping mine through 2032.

Now add back in the tax credit most people got and it’s 46k.

But yeah…buying new cars, they drop in value the day you drive off the lot.

My 2015 Mustang was worth 10k when I sold it…guess I should never have a car because they drop in value.

Not an investment, cars always crater quickly off the lot and then plateau into a slow decline. The holding of value back in 2022 was an anomaly of the supply chain crisis. Interest rates are also high now which makes it a bad time to buy a car in general, so the market has lower demand which means lower used car prices.

I'm not looking to buy a second one or trade mine in.
Why shop used Mach-E's? Seems like self torture
Some of us look hard and jump at the savings and when we realize the car was formerly "own" by a Ford Motor Company Engineer.

Does anyone remember how much we all got for the car we replaced. I had a 8 year old Honda accord. Got almost 22k for it. Plus the 7500 rebate. Neither of those financial incentives are available today

and I am keeping this car at least 8 years!

Can someone put @leeman out of his misery and either buy his car or give him a winning lottery ticket. Endless misery posts...

Pic of Leeman happy.

Yeah, I got $45,000 for my 2015 Chevy SS (it would be worth 28k today).

Definitely didn’t complain about that!

If someone had no trade in and paid full MSRP for their Mach E, this does sting a little though.

yup, it sucks if you have to sell it or God forbid, get into an accident. The insurance company will pay us fair market value for the MME which could very well end up with a lousy deal.

That said, my 2021 GT is a hoot to drive! I’m enjoying it every time I get behind the wheel. I bought some extra gap insurance coverage and will do my best not to run into anything. Good luck!
