Besides this issue, overall does PaaK work okay for you?
Am still on the fence to using it. So many posts about it, I keep putting it off...

I use it exclusively. It can be a pain to set up, as evidenced in this post, but after getting it up and running I rarely have issues

I own GT more than a year and from first day PAAK didn’t worked properly and I gave up and forgot about this feature. Recently I upgraded to the iPhone 15 pro max and decided to give it a try. Since then I use exclusively only PAAK, works flawlessly. I had no issues with adding new phone as a PAAK. Only one drawback now when I approaching to the car on the parking lot it takes 5-10 seconds to see the phone and open doors.

Here’s a PAAK anomaly - make sure WiFi is turned on on your phone. I had turned mine off the other day and forgot about it. The car wouldn’t recognize the phone at all - wouldn’t open, “no key detected,” and wouldn’t give me the screen to enter the passcode. Turned WiFi back on later and it’s worked fine since.

When I’ve gotten stuck in the past after a Paak reset in the car, I’ve also deleted the Paak Bluetooth connection from my phone. I’m on an iPhone so Settings/Bluetooth, mine is called “##### MACH E”, and then choose Forget this Device. After that I logout/login to the app and setting up Paak again was smooth sailing from there

(the Sync BT connection for me is called Mustang Mach-E, but I haven’t needed to delete than one)

Compared how it “worked” a year ago it’s working flawlessly now. Bluetooth connection needs time to establish and I accept this as a normal behavior.

Works great, occasionally I need to use backup password. I then check for incoming ota. Yup every time it’s an update.
With a job one I don’t expect that issue for a while.
