Is acceleration lag really a problem in the MME? Certainly not for the first 5 seconds.

These things are so dumb, they just change the pedal map, they don't make the car any faster. You can do the same thing by just pushing the pedal more with your foot.

Basically what it does is make it so when you press the pedal 50% it tells the computer you are pressing it 100%. And since you can't go faster than 100% the last half of the pedal travel does nothing since the input is already maxed out. It works on psychology, if the car goes quick when I barely press the pedal, it must be faster right?

The 0-60 times will be unchanged if you actually measure them.

they add zero power. as others have said, they just remap the throttle, so you feel like your car is more powerful because you don't have to push the pedal as far to get your power.

Ultimately, they'll just make your car less efficient because it's harder to feather the throttle more gently to be efficient.
