Is anyone having issues making phone calls and Bluetooth calls with the new updated UI? Most of my calls fail and Bluetooth drops (says Bluetooth dropped) and then it reconnects. I have deleted the phone and re-added it.

Also my wife's phone fails the same way. It used to work flawlessly under the old update without the volume controlling the other features.

Yes. I have to make every call twice. The first call always has heavy static or no sound at all. Hang up and then dial again and it almost always goes smooth the second try. Started immediately after the most recent OTA and remains a problem. (Going on 4 days now....)

Hey there! I can look into your Mach-E’s Bluetooth concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

I'm having the exact same problem. It started with the 4.1.1 update. I have the 4.1.3 update same problem. I have an Android Pixel 4a phone.

Yeah, the Bluetooth and Car play have issues after my recent OTA update. Before this update, I could have Bluetooth connected as well as Apple car play, with my phone connected to Wi-Fi. Now, the minute I connect my phone, I can only have either Bluetooth or car play. Along with this, it kicks me out of wifi on my phone

Looks like they changed something intentionally because once on bluetooth, I try to connect using carplay, it actually give me a message it has to disconnect bluetooth and vice versa.

Anyone try deleteing the phone and adding it back?
I got 4.1.1 and it wouldn't connect to my phone anymore.
I had to:
delete the phone
Reset Sync
Power off car
turn off BT on phone (prob wasn't needed)
Start the car
Add the phone via the phone settings button in the car.

It was stuck trying to bring up the "If you want to connect to Sync" screen but it wasn't showing up in the console.
Did the above to readd the phone. Car play, calls and bt music work fine for me now.

Yes, same problem here. Been too busy to remove and re-add the car but I will try that to see if it helps. Mostly I get the cracking during the beinning of a call or and even during sound. Somehow they screwed up the bluetooth.

You don't have to make the call twice; you can put the call on handset and switch it back to the car from the car's phone screen and it stops.

Having the same issue cannot make phone calls on Android Auto or receive them. Calls have no sound and kicks out to the android auto home screen but it still shows call is connected. Happened ever since the 4.1 update.

Yes, all calls from the UI fail, they show the timer running but I can't hear anything. If I initiate the call from my phone, it works fine. I wish Ford would keep us up to date on what they're working on. It feels like they just dropped this new UI update with very little QA testing and tons of issues, then just went silent.
