I'll be keeping my current convertible pony for weekends/pleasure driving, but I hope to eventually convince my wife to get at least a PHEV if not a BEV.

I entered a vote for ICE, although our other car will continue to be our Volvo PHEV (so not 100% alternative fuel or BEV either). However, I think the ICE entry reflects that we have another “back-up” vehicle that is not dependent on BEV tech or recharging on long trips.

Yup, that's what I'm curious to see. Will folks keep an ICE-capable car for longer trips (or any other reasons), or will they rent or borrow an ICE-V for temporary needs. I guess I could have simplified this. :)

We've got 2 cars and a truck. Our plan is to replace one of the cars with the Mach-E, and couple years later we'll replace the other car with possibly another BEV. Several years after that we'll replace the truck with most likely another ICE truck. This keeps an ICE for long trips and occasional commuting while the bulk of the daily driving will be electric. I think a lot of people are interested in electric for daily driving, but aren't willing to go all in and completely eliminate ICE from their household yet.

Some may not really even know yet. Until they get their first BEV and try a road trip, it may be a bit of a surprise at how much range drops at high speed and how the charging gauntlet plays out.

I'm in that boat too. Maybe it won't be as compromising as it looks. But either way I'm keeping one ICE.

We will have the wife’s Mazda CX-9. But dream would be to have a new Bronco as well!

I will keep my 2018 convertible mustang GT. Because it s a convertible, and there is not a lot of choices yet for electric convertibles

The mach-e is no no for long journeys, until electrify america price by kw not time. I am have no interest in my long road trips out to the various national parks taking longer and costing more.

So I will keep a focus not sure which one yet, probably keep the ST despite the version sold over here in the states being bean countered to hell :(, but the RS truth be told was a big let down having waited over 20 years for a ford to make a modern worthwhile sucessor to my Escort Cossie, the mk3 focus RS was not it, so still waiting ford :( I feel the the mk1 and mk2 focus rs where better resolved to there respective briefs while mk3 had the potential but for what ever reason was held back, probably due to some idiot complaining it would have stepped in the toes of a mustang GT :(

The mk4 focus ST is much improved over the mk3 ST and from the rumors the mk4 RS may finally be a worth while successor to the cossie, perfect just in time for the bone heads at Ford to stop selling cars in the USA. :( so ford better not mess up the mach-e.

The arrival of the Mach-E will most assuredly overlap with our Bolt lease. Thus for a short time we will likely have two EV's in the stable.

Most likely a Toyota RAV4 Prime (which I may end up getting instead of the Mach-E GT currently reserved)..

I will keep my 2004 F-250 4x4 for as long as it keeps running. I like having it to be able to haul larger loads when needed. It sits there parked most of the time. I did use it not long ago when it snowed, but with AWD on the Mach E, I will not need to do that next winter.

I will favor BEV and then PHEV going forward with vehicle purchases. In both cases I would favor greater range. I have a PHEV and will buy a BEV next. If the BEV turns out OK on road trips then it will likely be BEV only from then on.
