They're working on my car this morning and doing the Pinpoint test, does that mean they haven't even replaced the HVBJB then? That's step 1 and something they did last Friday. Or do they do this again after replacing the HVBJB?

One odd thing I noticed is that I now have two updates available: PCM and SOBDMB. My car was already updated to the recall versions and the tooltip on both of these updates appear to match @DevSecOps findings that they're the May version? I'm not sure why I'd have these available. As @WyldStallyn pointed out, they should only need an update to the latest available if they've been replaced. I'm assuming that's correct.

See below for screenshots of the tooltips:

You and @scoopman are both showing the May PCM (-ACK) and SOBDMB (-BK) as available updates even though they are downgrades from your current -ACL and -BL.

My GTPE is still showing no updates.

Those are two new updates that I noticed this morning. I think @WyldStallyn and I might be a little demoralized due to recent events on this forum, so posting about them as I would normally do, was the last thing on my mind.

Nothing to worry about. When you get your car back they should be there for you to flash.

The SOBDMB does appear newer being a -5.0 but the PCM appears to match the tooltip of the May ones you posted exactly the same.

Yes we noticed that but we don't want to say anything because GOD Forbid we say that the recall version is the May non-recall tooltip. What a conspiracy that would be. Am I right...

For scientific purposes I'll leave these, which are being offered, here:

PCM - G21789550-3.0
DMC - G2186400-3.0
BECM - G2175204-2.0
DMB - G2225749-5.0

So I checked my vin online and there is a recall for it but, Ford never sent me a letter and I never got a notification in the fordpass app. What should I do?

PCM, BECM, SOBDMC being offered in FDRS now has tooltip rev matching May. SOBDMB has a newer version.

- GTPE with May updates is being offered the above
- GTPE with June (recall) updates is showing no updates available
- 2 GTPE's with June (recall) updates and HVBJB issues are now being offered PCM (May rev), and SOBDMB (likely June rev)

This is just a summary, we will have to see the installed versions as people update.

This is so confusing lol, what a cluster f. I guess we shall see what happens throughout the week. I'll try and get my dealer to flash these ones while it is there.

There sees to be quite a lag between various Ford systems showing the VIN as being part of the recall. (For instance the NHTSA Recall site showed my VIN as being part of the recall, and a couple days after I got the updates done at a dealer, the NHTSA site no longer shows a recall for my VIN. Meanwhile neither the Ford Recall site nor my FordPass app showed that I had a recall, and I've not received a letter either.) You can simply wait for the OTA update to occur, or call your dealership service department and ask them to look it up in their system to see if it they can do the update (they should be able to).

So I'm sitting here Stopped Safely Now at home, with no paperwork from the part replacement last week by the Taco Stand junkyard dealer (they've ghosted me!) and no record in PTS of the 22S41 recall having been completed on my car.

And I'm now just gonna wait until you awesome folks such as @DevSecOps @WyldStallyn @Neil4Real and others help figure out the tealeaves of what our favorite incompetent OEM is doing today with the software on our cars.

It sounds like I bet I might need another version of the software for my car, but of course I'm concerned FDRS might not offer it to me because the dealer last week put no record of the new part they put in my car in Ford's systems I bet.

I just hope nothing happens with my car with the recall software + new HVBJB part in it in the meanwhile.

I had to do a double take. I thought I was reading an old thread.
I think he is so traumatized that he sees the SSN message with his eyes closed while sitting on the couch
