I've made an appointment at my local dealer to replace the part on Sept 27th at my expense. I'll let everyone know how much this costs me. It's a bit disappointing that a 72k Ford has a faulty part and I have to eat it because it hasn't failed....yet. It's a March build 2022 GTPE.
I'm confused, why not just wait to see if you even get a failure? With the recall update, it is very rare that your vehicle becomes unusable. Most people get service vehicle soon which allows you to continue driving and make it to a dealer.

Well at least this way, he gets to schedule when his car will be down vs having it happen and waiting weeks for the part.

It's my understanding that this affects every single Mach-E but GTs draw significantly more power through the system under acceleration than a select or a premium would. GTs are failing at a significantly faster rate because of this. As a driver of a premium , you may never see a failure or it may happen further down the line.
I've got a 2021 Premium AWD ER that just failed with the typical warnings yesterday. Car had the recall software update done about a month ago. Dealer said today that the HVBJB for my model is backordered as well and they don't know when to expect it. So it's definitely not just the GTs.

Wonder if ford will 'truly' fix this before they get hit w tons of lemon law. Hard to fudge this as 'different' issues to avoid it.

Those wires are only used to open the frunk in the event your LVB fails. You cannot jump the car with them.

Many of us have added holes in the cover above the jumper terminals to allow easy access to jump start the LVB. It was one of the first mods I did to my car when I brought it home. Even the dealer used it when they did FDRS updates, which is nice because every time you remove those covers you are likely to lose a clip. They fall right off...
I guess I didn't read it all like a doofus!
Maybe a solution to cutting holes in your frunk panels would be to run battery tender connection to the same place on the front bumper cover?

You could do that, but I prefer the holes. It gives you direct access to the jump points, and nothing is easier than drilling a hole. Well, I guess talking about drilling a hole is easier.

Success! My Mach-E GT is back on the road with a new HVBJB.

Timeline:

August 27, 2022 - Zero warning failure
August 27, 2022 - Towed to dealer
August 29, 2022 - Repair order opened at dealer and vehicle checked in
*Waited 7 days for BEV tech to diagnose the car* - Dealer was understaffed due to holiday week.
September 6, 2022 - Diagnosis Confirmed
September 6, 2022 - Parts expedited through Ford Case # & BEV Team
September 9, 2022 - Parts arrive & installed same day
September 10, 2022 - Car repaired and back on the road

They installed the new HVBJB part # LK9Z-10C666-B

I was so excited to have my car back. I definitely drove it home in a spirited manner. I look forward to being able to actually DRIVE the car like it was meant to be driven and without fear of it leaving me stranded due to a weak HVBJB.

Thanks again to @MachLee for making a house call and helping me get the vehicle out of my garage.

Thank you @Ford Motor Company social media team for getting a case started immediately so that the BEV team could set aside a HVBJB for me.
