Did anyone get 6.7 without getting 6.6?

I received 6.7 last night, and never had any notification on 6.6.

6.7.0 install failed on my 2021 job 1 yesterday. First time an install has failed. Checked my LVB using connected services thru ford.com and it was at 30%! Connected the 12V battery to a trickle charger and it increased to 65% by this morning. About 4% per hour. I think it’s time to invest in a real 12V charger. Will try install again when it reaches 80%.

6.7.0 downloaded for me on my way into work this morning. My LVB is decently charged, but seeing a few stories about it draining, I think I’ll wait until I’m back home and on the ol’ Grizzl-E before I hit the button.

This was what I thought? Which is why I am confused about this.
If Auto Updates is turned off, you get no updates.
The schedule is for applying updates, already downloaded, that require inhibiting the vehicle.

However, that's not so different than leaving auto update on and getting a notification through FordPass that you received an update...is it? 6 of 1...
Totally different.

Auto updates off means you can prevent any updates from happening.

When FordPass says you got an update, it's a done deal.

If your dealer updated your car recently (perhaps for the charge port recall) they may have applied that software already. So then you won’t get that OTA.

No, haven't taken to a dealer.

This is from just now...

I know the 6.7 thread isn't the place to talk about 6.6, but it seems to me I wouldn't have this 23B50 campaign active if I had received 6.6. So was just curious if anyone received 6.7 without getting 6.6.

You can always plug it into a L1/L2 charger. While it's charging the HVB it will also charge the LVB.

I tested this earlier this week. My LVB dropped from 93% down to 70% overnight. I plugged the car into my L2 charger, let it sit for 3 hours charging. LVB went back up to 86% after 3 hours while the HVB went from 60% to 90%.

6.6 doesn't address the CSP.

You probably got the no name power up as we never got notified it installed but we are also still at 6.1 but with 23-PU1103-NAT-VCE. I noticed it no longer said the power up version and when schooling to the bottom it shows VCE.
Just yesterday I finally got upgraded to 6.2.0. Still way out of date I guess but at least it’s not stuck anymore. Though oddly it mentions the new voice feedback feature but it doesn’t seem to exist yet in the dashboards app tray.

Out of date per who? That’s the problem, you’re thinking about this wrong. Just because 6.7 or 6.8 is out doesn’t mean you’re behind. The PowerUp versions actually mean nothing. The module software versions inside are what matter.

6.2/6.3 is current for a NON-EA 2023, mid year refresh are like on 5.1.1 it feels like. Newer model years will be basically updated last because essentially they were released with “newer” updates then what the reset of us have.

These aren’t iPhones and they come off the assembly line with different software installed. For example, we have BC 1.2 and 1.3 depending on when they were built, no one else does.

Like I said people are thinking about this stuff wrong.

I don’t disagree with you there, software for vehicles is a heck of a lot more complicated than a iPhone and it’s not an easy 1:1 comparison. But I also think you ultimately know what I meant. ?

By saying I’m “out of date” I just meant I don’t have the latest power-up version that people are always posting about and that I see in the changelog on GitHub (https://github.com/elmedico27/fordpowerup). From the sounds of things, there are a few fixes for things like the liftgate and whatnot that I would like to benefit from, and simply wish I was on the latest software to benefit from those bug fixes.

I didn’t mean to imply that my vehicle’s software is somehow obsolete or anything like that, just that I wish I had the latest stuff others have been posting about as it sounds like it may improve some things I’m currently affected (and sometimes frustrated) by. Hopefully that clarifies that. But again I don’t disagree with you and I also recognize that my usage of “out of date” was probably not the most accurate way to convey what I meant. ?
