No new updates for me, yet.

But I tapped the disabled Update Now button anyway, because I'm a little kid.

Any luck?
Funny you should mention that. Since it appeared to get further if I let it schedule the update I just kept scheduling them until I went to bed. The last schedule was for 6:45am this morning....it worked.

This leads me to belive that one of the conditions for this update is that the car is charged to its set point: All of my infinite attempts prior the car was sitting at around 79% charge (my current setpoint is 85%). Overnight the car was plugged in and charged to 85% before the 6:45am scheduled update....

If it is the case that the car needs to be charged to its setpoint Ford should put that in the instructions to avoid a lot of frustrated customers.

As more people get 2.4.2 we'll find out if, indeed, this is the case.

Could it have been the LVB SoC?

Not likely, my car has not exhibited any issues with the 12V battery and I keep a 12V meter plugged into the cigarette lighter socket. The LVB seems to be very healthy in my vehicle.

Guess I need to research taking my setpoint off of 100!

Anyway, grats on finally getting it to take. Are you early access?

Not what I meant, your 12v still has different SoC levels depending on when you’ve driven it

Perhaps, I didn't look at the 12V meter as I have the cover closed--didn't think to. Whenever I have glanced at it the 12V battery voltage was 12V+ with the car parked.

------------------

Took the car for a drive to see what is different:
  1. The update turns off 1-P and the HVAC..be prepared (especially when the car leaps out of the garage LOL)
  2. The update does not erase your departure times (I programed a few in last night when someone here mentioned that they will be erased--they weren't. Ford must think "departure" is more mature than "go" as on the Focus Electric they were called "Go" times and forever will be in my mind)
  3. Driving around with 1-P off the brakes are a lot less touchy and more like our Escape. You no longer come to a screeching halt by just looking at the brake pedal
  4. Likewise with 1-P off that little lurch just before coming to a complete stop is almost all gone. In some instances its still there but its greatly reduced
So far that is all I noticed during a short 5 mile drive.
