There's no way to know other than looking at your last update, right? The version doesn't show up in any screen? Thus my answer "I'm not sure I think I deleted that notification"
there is no other screen I am aware of. Mine shows NO version number per the image I attached to my post.

My current version does not show a release number.

I toggled auto-update ON a couple days ago, but nothing has updated yet as far as I can tell. I pushed 'update now', and car checks for updates, then displays 'Updates Not Ready' dialog.

so..... any way to FORCE an update?

The update description is more than a page long. You just aren't seeing the number. Here's the rest of the description for what looks like 4.2.6:

What does it say in your FordPass app?

interesting that your FordPass App would show a version number for Powerup, and the car itself does not ?!

I just looked around in my FordPass (4.26.0).... the only thing I ever use it for is PAAK, so it took me a minute to find PowerUp inside FordPass. I found it, and the 'Recent Changes' shows as Sept 24, 2022, and PowerUp release note reads exactly the same as in the car, with no Version number at the top.

It does show auto-update ON, and my schedule of allowed days is 1AM every day. so FordPass and PowerUp are talking....

so..... the question is now: When can I expect @Ford Motor Company to notice and send me a massive update to catch up to 'most current' ?

...and my very first feedback will be 'How can I initiate an Update Pull, NOW, rather than wait for some unknown time for my vehicle to be checked?'

And the first answer will be, you can't.

I do agree we should be able to do initiate update pulls. This is something @Ford Motor Company needs to pass along to the PowerUp team.

But then the system would breakdown.

Someone would post that they got an update. Then people would bum rush the system pressing 'update now' and the system would get clogged up. Which is probably why Ford does releases in waves.

I agree the initial distribution needs to be handled in a measured fashion. However, that's not the case for old updates. Any new phone, tablet, or computer has a step in the initial setup that checks for updates and applies all old updates needed to bring the device up to date. That's what we need the pull for.

If @dtbaker61 is really back at 4.2.6, then such a call could be used to bring them up to date. If there is a need to implement them all in sequence, the system could install the next one, say 4.3.2 and alert the driver that the next update will be applied the following day or after the next drive.

I don't KNOW what version I am at.... it's not displayed anywhere.

As we know, there are lots of sub-pieces to updates, and we don't really have a clean way to pull all the pieces needed to get to a specific version. Nor can we return to a previous version if there happens to be so mystery regression bug we don't like after an update.

I managed software development teams for years.... 60 developers coding 8 million lines of code in 4 programming languages released on 5 different hardware/OS platforms. I am well aware of what can and should be done with version control, release notes, testing, bug reporting and enhancement suggestions. What Ford is doing with FordPass and PowerUp is not impressive.

My #1 requirement for FP and PU is that PAAK works reliably. Other than that I do not want auto-updates.... I want to wait for a stable build that contains some known enhancement I want, and Pull an Update either 'now', or during my next timeslot when I know my vehicle will be near wifi, and have my MME updated to some known version, and that known version hopefully has a table of compatible sub-module version numbers so all specific submodules can be updated to compatible versions if needed.

It's not rocket science, but it is computer science.

I have auto updates "on" and have it scheduled for 4am on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. My MME is always in the garage at that time and in range of the wifi.

Yet it looks like I'm on 4.1.1

What gives?

I'm in exactly the same boat, have not received an update since January of this year. The last update received was version 4.1.2 with the new SYNC UI re-design, updated to Version 22326 Rev. 640. I've spoken to someone earlier today from Ford Canada Technology/OTA update department, and they informed me that there is nothing wrong with my vehicle, and that no new updates have been pushed by Ford to my vehicle since the last one in January, and I have no missed updates.

They assured me that if and when Ford decides to push an update to the vehicle, it should be received since there are no issues with my vehicle or connectivity with Ford. I asked why I see so many job 1 customers are getting frequent updates well beyond 4.1.2, and he essentially said they cannot control when Ford pushes an update to the vehicle, and they don't really have the ability to force an update if it's not already selected as part of batch of vehicles to receive updates.

I find this super frustrating, and I really don't know why it's such a big mystery with regards to how vehicles are selected for updates. He essentially said you can have two vehicles of the exact same make, model and delivery month, where one will be scheduled to receive an update, while the other is not. That's just really bizarre, and makes for a very poor customer experience, and likely results in allot of completely unnecessary support requests from customers who think there is something wrong with their vehicles.

I would really like to see the ability to pull updates from Ford on demand, rather than waiting for Ford to push updated to vehicles after doing whatever mysterious voodoo they do during the selection process which no one seems to know anything about (including their own support staff).

Thanks for the feedback. This makes me feel a little better about not having the updates that others have. But I agree, it seems a little ridiculous that there are vehicles that 15 updates ahead of mine. Even if they're doing it in batches, you would think they would roll through all vehicles for each update before moving on to the next one. Oh well. I guess I will just wait to see when I get my next update. Like you though, my last one was in January.

It's kinda strange I still have not received the LAT update and I'm usually in the second wave to receive updates, and everything is working... nothing queued...

I have a 20 Oct build job 1 select AWD standard batt and it is a bit frustrating on the power-ups. I've always been behind by months, but then they come in batches. Last 4.2.2 Mar 22. Then 21B36 (23-POU415-BLM-VIS) on June 21st. And last was July 17th 23-PU0314-DCM-LAT. So I guess I get to skip 4.2.5 and 4.2.6. I am not seeing the lower charge rates, so I'm happy.
