They showed a build with new button icons 4 months ago and for some reason, they still haven't released them, despite 6.2.1 being a Sync module update where they could have been included.
https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/updated-sync-4a-icons-are-coming.30129/
Maybe they are taking those back to the drawing board, because the "new" icons leaked in that thread are almost as hideous as the current icons. ?

Nope. It only charges the LVB while your HVB is actively charging (ie below the charge limit and within your time window). If your LVB hasn’t charged by the time your HVB is full, too bad.
This is one advantage of charging via L1 most of the time. My LVB consistently reports a high SOC (currently reporting 100%, though likely skewed as the car is actively charging via L1 right now.)

I don't get why we cannot even have some semblance of a speedometer guage and a decent map on the instrument panel. I guess the EV bar was low when Tesla's instrument panel (or lack of)was benchmarked.

Yes, the Audi instrument cluster is pretty cool and Ford could/should have taken some notes when they were designing the MME interface. I have this instrument panel on our other car, though admittedly I almost never use the maps on the cluster because:

a) I prefer Google Maps and
b) I use the HUD for driving directions. (I really miss not having a HUD when driving the MME - please bring a HUD to the next-gen Mach-E @Ford Motor Company!)

Yes. This IPC update contains the arrows, lane shift, and lane change notifications/animations for BlueCruise 1.3.

Are these photos from your 2022 Premium? If so, how did you get the IPC to display these screens? (I've seen them on a 2023 loaner, but not on a 2022.)

I've been doom-scrolling and trying to find the answer to no avail. Where is it that you look to see which update number your vehicle has?
You can't.

You can check the software updates (found on the FordPass app and the car's settings menu). If you have had a recent update you will see the most recently-applied update there. If that notice has expired you cannot find out your current update.

We may someday be able to access the history of past updates but it's not available to us yet.

Yeah, that was kind of weird. I've been checking the software updates on the dashboard iPad, and there's a new one with a bunch of mumbo jumbo, but it fails to give a number describing which one it is?
You mean like this?
Ford Mustang Mach-E PowerUp 6.8.0 released IMG_3060

That's the PowerUp that shall not be named.

You should get a numbered one to replace it soon.

Not sure why all the hubbub about the speedo on the right side. Most cars with conventional gauges (Speedo/tach) have the Speedo on the right. That’s because most people are right-eye dominant.

It's more than just the speedo that's changed. The cool animated graphics in unbridle mode and whisper have been deleted and now you just get to stare at the top view of your car. Yawn.

Hopefully it's brought back but this will be the second time (as far as I'm aware) that Ford has de-contented a screen.

It is more than that. It is just a lot of wasted real estate with a useless graphic. It could provide so much more info people want than a car in the middle of it. If you don't have cruise control or lane centering on, it is useless that provide zero other info, not even door ajar.

It’s interesting how many people apparently don’t ever use lane assist/centering or adaptive cruise. My speed is always to the right because those are always on in my car. I frankly forgot you could even get the speedo to show up in the center.

I’m used to it always being on the right side, you get used to it.
Well, yeah, but the design is (to me) dumb. Putting the animation of the car in the center then cramming everything else to the right is just bad interface. Due to the ergonomics of the car my right hand blocks part of that so I sometimes juke and jive in order to read something I should be able to glance at. If Ford had made the positions symmetric, I would not need to do that. ?‍♂?
