How does it typically compare to dealer trade in?

I plan to get quotes from third parties like Carvana so that I can have alternate options to dealer trade in, and possibly have the dealer compete against those options.

Depending on your state tax laws, I think? But yeah, just another thing to keep in consideration. That'll just be maybe a $400 incentive in my case.

How does it typically compare to dealer trade in?

I’m not sure as against dealers, but I did compare them against Carmax on my last two, and Carvana was much better. In fact, I sold them my Wrangler when they offered me even more than I’d get from a private sale — but on the second vehicle I did do much better with private sale.
