I've used a blend mount in the past for my other vehicles and its worked great, but unfortunately, it most likely won't work well with the Infrared-Reflective (IRR) windshield of the Mach-E, since the mount will place the radar detector too low.I didn't read all the comments so my suggestion could have been covered. I have been using blend mount for years. They mount to the rear view mirror stem and the radar is visible just below the rear view mirror.
Very high quality, very adjustable, very solid, not a cheap piece of s$-t

The only area that's not covered with the IRR coating is the dotted area around the rear-view mirror, and that's where everyone has been trying to position their radar detector.
Very surprising! I will just leave this here... I'm not doubting your own results, but I'm hesitant on investing in a blendmount if it specifically won't work with a Mach-E 2023 with IRR and a Uniden R8.I have one and a Uniden r3 with no issues
I'm using a visor mount on the headliner.I switched to the headliner mount (and it’s far better than the permanent mount in terms of how flat it sits), but my radar is a bit wobbly still. How are folks wedging something in between to prevent sagging?
