Range 610 km

Hei, MyMach E with range 610 km. never shows 610 when fully charged. The maximum km it showed is 540. Does any one here have the same problem?

Driving range varies with driving conditions and style.

The distance to empty (DTE) shown in the driver's instrument cluster is a guess, based on how the vehicle was recently driven by you, and current weather conditions. 540km is its current guess at your current state of charge. It may be substantially more. It may be significantly less.

You can reset the algorithm by resetting driving history on the center display, but the DTE ("Guessometer") will still be a rough estimation.

I'm assuming there was a typo with some extra zeroes in your post ?‍

I accidentally reset the driving history the other day (clicked on the wrong thing while scrolling). So I'm back down to 220 miles range on my AWD ER. Too bad too, I was looking forward to a drive to South Point next week.

I have no idea what version of Mach-E you got, but there is currently no version of the Mach-E that is EPA rated for 610km or 379 miles.

If you are getting 540km or 335 miles out of your Mach-E, then you are already doing significantly better than the official EPA rating no matter what model you have.

The longest range version that they sell is only rated at 305 Miles officially, so I don't understand the problem??

Unless the OP is from Europe where they use the WLTP rating? WLTP is kind of wack and absurdly higher than anything you get in the real world.

Are they shipping to Europe yet?

He is talking about WLTP range for European cars - RWD Extended range rated at 610 km - I guess, just a different type of testing, Tesla style

He’s in Norway. They couldn’t care less about what the US EPA range ratings are. And they’ve been shipping to there for quite awhile. It takes a fair bit of time for cars to clear customs and then get delivered to their final destination.

In Norway they sell to different ranges, 400 km and 610 km. We paied for 610 km.

EPA means nothing to what you see in your range display (GOM). Someone that drives 65 km/h 40 mph will have a different display from someone that drives 120 km/hr 75 mph. And it should adjust for both those users as the temperature varies. I can see a display range of 600 km for some that do not drive over 50 mph. That is just the way it works. Me I am 420 km range in good temps. This is highway speed and is what the EPA numbers kind of suggest.
