Can’t be a std range, must be an ER. Anyway, I picked up my Premium AWD ER in August 2021 -haven’t yet had a summer in CT to see max range. I only charge to 90% but my best was equivalent to 265.For an RWD SR that is amazing!
- my best last summer was only 297 in my RWD SR!!!
Wow, is that SR battery? That is just amazing. I have an SR AWD but have not even seen it touch 200 yet. I am still waiting for it's first summer.
Oh I’m very aware but when these are posted completely out of context with no mention of drive or battery size, they are useless, I was just having a bit of fun at his post. Can’t be a std range, must be an ER. It’s on the car, it must be true! One thing I have been meaning to do though Tim, is to start a thread about how my car’s range was only 195 miles at full charge this winter. Has any one else noticed that? False advertising!I'm hoping this is sarcasm and not real belief in the GOM fairy....
Haha - but I have definitely seen the range improve as the temps go up even here in So Cal - max i have seen is like 283 once on my Ext Range at 100% charge. Otherwise I usually expect about 250ish at most - i charge 90% most of the time and most of Feb this year I have been seeing 210-220ish range at 90% charge and only in the last week as temps are going up I have noticed 225 - 230 range at 90%It’s on the car, it must be true! I’ll show myself out now.

In all honesty 195 -219 mikes is my maximum GOM range year round. I live on the side of a volcano (Maunakea) and the GOM seems to figure I’m always going uphill. It’s why the GOM should be useful as a guide but not considered completely accurate. In this case, your mileage will vary.Haha - but I have definitely seen the range improve as the temps go up even here in So Cal - max i have seen is like 283 once on my Ext Range at 100% charge. Of course efficiency - and thus ACTUAL range - changes with weather. That's not the concern I am expressing. My issue is that people are believing the guess-o-meter's expected range instead of doing the math based on the ACTUAL efficiency to compute the REAL range. Sometimes the GOM guesses "almost" correctly but many times it does not, and way too many people accept the GOM's guess as reality.Haha - but I have definitely seen the range improve as the temps go up even here in So Cal - max i have seen is like 283 once on my Ext Range at 100% charge.
