Range question for Extended Range

Just met another MachE owner who mentioned that he gets 260 miles range on his standard battery for 80% charge.
I have an Extended Range and I get about 260 miles for 85% charge.

What gives? Can I get some pointers? Yeah, I am using the GOM for the mileage info.

he lives on a mountain and trailers it back up?

for 80% of a 72kWh battery he'd have to get about 4.5 mi/kWh. my guess is he misspoke and has an extended range battery.

I have a standard range mach e, usual drive in city , my avg is 3.7 m/kw as per the car. So with 80 % it's about 205 miles.

That is exactly what I asked. He said, ER was 8K more and he was sure he didn’t order it. Maybe he was just messing with me. Or he was messing with me. Screw him. ?

I have a GTPE and my range is about 260 commuting on Interstate about 90% of my trip running 76 mph. Flat south ga hwy 95 for reference.

Just like a ICE car the faster you drive, the more energy you use. The car uses data on how you drive. Just around town on a 90% charge, the car tells me that I can expect an estimated 325 miles. When I returned from a trip to St. Augustine, it told me that I can expect to get 280 miles on this charge driving the way that I did last time. I have noticed that the car knows that I am driving normally, and it compensates for that.

Currently, outside temps here are ~50-55F and my 100% charged extended range shows 252 miles.
2 months ago it was 285 miles...
