Real world range?

I have put 3700 miles on so far in Phoenix, with the AC set to 72 deg. I am averaging 3.7 m/kwh, including a 500 mile round trip to Grand Canyon, at mostly 75mph. My GOM is currently at 280 miles with 80% charge. When I charged it to 100% for the Grand Canyon trip, the GOM was displaying 370 miles. Of course that was not accurate for my trip, lol.

I'm at 3.3 mi/kWh which equates to 290 mi range since I got the car, 20 miles higher than advertised. This is in the dead heat of summer in Texas where we've been upper 90's touching 100's occasionally. I'm very content.

In San Jose, CA I get 4 mi/kWh on the highway at 65 mph. That's pretty good - I think.

Mostly highway driving in Michigan, stated range is 270 miles, I get between 270-300 miles currently. In February I was getting maybe 220-240 miles.

My wife and I drive the same 240 mile route frequently between a couple places here in Colorado, and I’ve been tracking energy usage for this route since we got the car in February. Data is in miles per kWh; you can do the math to figure the range. Graph shows reported mi/kWh, and calculated based on battery percentage display. Average speed for this route is about 60mph, max speed is 70 for some extended periods.

I get about 4-5 mi/kWh on the highway at 65 MPH. I expect it to be cut by 40% or so in the winter when I use heater. That is what I got with my Volt.
