Received my MME back today after 1 1/2 days at the dealer to complete my HVBJB recall, Charge cord stuck reprogram Battery charge control module, and replacement of both front axle shafts with 4 wheel alignment and tire rotation. the car was also washed and cleaned before I picked it up. Oh yes I almost forgot to say MME loaner provided. I have found a great dealer to work with! Thank you Grappone Ford in Concord, NH

I received a follow up call today informing me that the HVBJB they had ordered on Monday was in. When I mentioned that some members were saying that their dealers can no longer order the part, and that Ford has put things on hold because of issues, he said he would get in touch with Ford and call me back. A while later he called, said there was no hold on the replacement. When I asked when to drop the vehicle off, he insisted that they would pick up the vehicle, drop off a loaner and had schedule the repair for two days just in case. Also mention the post card offer some members received.

Are there any GTs that are waiting for parts? Could it be only the Premiums are waiting? The part for my car came in one day.
Just checked the recall status on my '21 GT. Recall notice says "remedy not yet available ".

It's been like that for a while, they're not updating FP or the car to say parts are available.

Took my '22 GTPE in for HVBJB recall work. First the service rep said they were going to 'evaluate' the problem. I took it in on Jan. 31. They kept it overnight, then called for me to pick it up as it would take until the next Thursday for 'parts' to arrive. Thursday comes, no call. So I called at the end of the day, they said bring the car in on Friday , February 9, which I did. I was informed it would be two days to repair. I called on Monday, and was informed that the technician wasn't able to work on it yet, and the car wouldn't be ready until Wednesday... which is today. I went to the dealership to see what the issue was, and there was my car parked outside, with no work done to it. I spoke with the technician who informed me that the battery lift had just arrived, and the two days of work are still ahead of me. This is very frustrating. Why did they order parts, have me wait a week, only to find out the lift hadn't arrived? Will my car be ready to go on Friday, Feb. 16??? Let's see.

I contacted my dealer (Korum) about the recalls on Jan 24th, they called me yesterday and said they had the parts needed. I will be taking my MME in on Friday for the repairs. They said they have two other cars lined up for these and will be doing all three together. So far I am happy with their handling of the process, hopefully all will go smoothly.

They're just getting their battery lift?! They were supposed to have those tools years ago. That means they haven't done one before, which is surprising.

My dealer here in Florida just got theirs in Jan of this year. They were sharing one with another company dealer, at least that’s what they told me.

Mine says the same thing yet my new HVBJB has been at the dealer for a month now. I have just delayed the service twice for my convenience. If you have received the letter I would contact your dealer to order the part. I actually jumped the gun and had them order the part as soon as the notice came out to dealers. I think that got me the part before the rush and the current shortage of parts.

Just had the HVBJB replacement done at my local Kendal Ford. Great service. They picked up my car at my house yesterday morning and dropped me off a new Bronco to drive as a loaner. Replacement was completed along with the reprogramming on the charge port. Very smooth process here. Took about a day and half.

Since at least one member has reported a lower HVB SoH after the HVBJB was replaced, I wanted to let everyone know that the SoH of my HVB stayed exactly the same: 92.5% before and after.
Mine stayed the same for a bit, then went up 0.5%.

You should take it to another dealer. These idiots don’t deserve your business.

I just dropped off my MME for the HVBJB and a couple of CSPs. They said they might have it done today, they have done several of these already. I got a Bronco sport loaner.

Had my car in for LVB update and Watertown Ford in MA. The service manager said they had gotten info from Ford that they could order HVBJB parts for April. My Mach E does not have any issues so far so I'm not on the critical list. Watertown had set up an appointment for the recall but had to cancel because they were told they couldn't get the part. So now at least they have some info from Ford as to when they can get the parts. Fingers crossed.
