No idea, but if it does exist I'm willing to bet it won't be around for long. He has an older build and the Manual to the car is about the only thing that I know of that remotely has that possibility. Even then it has a top banner. The only thing I can think of without that top banner is nav, which doesn't make much sense.

If it was there and with all the people who we know are in tech and own this car, I'm shocked it would be over a year without others discovering it.

In the end I think he's gonna say you were bamboozled, but ya never know!

Even then, nothing in the Nav is gesture based. I've not seen gestures anywhere in Sync. That's the thing that makes me disbelieve it.

Ford will issue an OTA to fix this...... It would take about 2 months with their speed.

Naviks makes Video and Camera T-harnesses that allows an owner to plug in an external video device, like a tablet, FireStick, AppleTV, Roku, etc., and view the contents on the screen.

I have a Naviks box I connected to my GT500 because I installed a front camera and needed a way to display it on the Sync 3 display. It works great and have also connected an Apple TV to view content I have loaded on it and also to stream content from my iPhone. Only did this for test purposes of course. I have contacted Naviks and they do not have any devices that work with Sync 4 nor are they working on one at this time. Maybe in the future is what they told me.

They would definitely try to fix it. You’re not allowed to be able to play videos visible to the drive while the vehicle is moving per NHTSA.

Wow Conner, that is a completely different story than I got from them which was also back in December. Was told at that time nothing in development for the Sync 4a system. Thanks for the info. I have used Navik's interfaces on three of my cars and have all been great. Looking forward to what they come up with.

Ford will issue an OTA to fix this...... It would take about 2 months with their speed.

So it won't be fixed in europe because we aren't getting any OTAs
