They both have the same battery, of course, and thus are both getting the same amount of kWh. The difference is one car has a higher recent mileage history that it's using to estimate range.

The range display (often referred to as a GOM: Guess-O-Meter, for good reason) doesn't mean much.
that makes sense but I do find it amusing. Has anyone check say MILES/KWH on a dirty car versus a fresh waxed one???

You may have a hard time finding anyone that's letting their brand new Mach-E getting dirty yet. 😁

Well, except maybe for Kyle. He seems to be fine with a dirty car. (Very dirty, in some of his videos.)
