The speedometer is not only issue. The entire user interface is awkward at best - too time consuming with eyes off the road at worst. Had I’d been able to test drive, I would not have purchased. My mistake - that’s on me.

The crappy interface - that’s on ford.

It’s the entire sync interface, not just the Speedo. BTW: the car is worth 1/2 of what I paid. I’m stuck with this relic.

Seems I am now doomed to being notified a software update is available every time I start the car

I don't get that update when I start the car. And I turned updates off a long time ago.

Just an observation that might possibly be useful, not trying to make you feel bad.

Bummer that this still isn't fixed. I just received the update request this afternoon. I'm definitely not downloading this one. Until I see something in a future update that I REALLY REALLY want.

I'm sensing a lot of sarcasm here... But I'll indulge you: how often do you need to change settings while driving? What settings are those?

what gets changed regularly (in no particular order):

1. temperature.
2. Airflow - defrost; center; feet.
3. radio
4. Mapping
5. Music streaming
6. Fan speed
7. Seat heater

(please don’t suggest using voice commands - it’s just worthless tech).
