Actually just noticed that the locking on the outside of the doors has been unresponsive to my touch since the update…. Only walk away with PAAK, using app or using FOB…

Pull the 12v. I had the same issue and that worked for me. Just wait 12+minutes after you turned off the car before doing it.

The problem with software update recalls when you're out of warranty is that if the software causes issues ford and the dealer will not help you without charging you money.
the last recall i went in for caused the OPD fault and even with ford admitting the update caused the issue it took me weeks of arguing to get it fixed. Ford washed their hands of the issue and were zero help. The dealer refused to look at the car without me paying them money but the manager finally agreed to complete the fix that was detailed in the notice where ford admitted to causing the issue 🙄.

Not really an issue, but my '23GT with latest OTAs is showing a not completed 23-PU1024-MCP-FX update after a mobile visit for the recall. I don't think i ever received this update OTA, and I'm guessing it has been superseded by newer updates since.

I left my '22 GT at the dealer on Tuesday and the dealer completed recall 25S65 overnight. I picked the car up on Wednesday morning and everything was fine. In fact, I was a bit surprised to see that the recall had cleared as completed in both FordPass and in my online Ford account on Wednesday morning.

Yesterday (Friday) I was driving the car and had two alerts pop-up on the instrument cluster: Pre-Collision Assist Not Available and Front Camera fault. My first alerts in 3.5 years! The alerts went away after just a few more blocks of driving, and have not come back since. I checked for obstructions on the front camera and radar but did not see anything. Could these alerts be related to the recall? Just a glitch, or something I should worry about?

Were you driving into a setting sun at the time?

I ask because sometimes that will cause some faults because the camera gets blinded.

No, it was dusk and I was driving north. I didn't notice anything unusual in front of the car.

Had mine done 2 weeks ago at the dealership, the only anomaly I noticed was that I had to go back in the settings and toggle the mirror auto-fold back on, that was off....other than that, nothing out of the ordinary....

Dealership said they were submitting the paperwork the following day, and by later afternoon that following day (24 hours after update complete), the recall notification disappeared from the Ford app...

My car is currently at Ford after the recall and have this same message in my forpass app. They still have the car because they are fixing a scratch.
