Sensor/Indicator for Charge Port Door?

Maybe I missed it somewhere but is there an indicator that tells you that your charge port door is open? One day I left my garage in a rush after unplugging and drove off with the charge port open. I didn't realize until I was a few lights away when a driver behind me alerted me it was open. I don't recall seeing any warnings on screen akin to a "door ajar" message or even any audible warnings. I was also in a rush and could have just overlooked it. Does the MME have one?

I get a message on the instrument screen. I don’t know if it goes away if you ignore it, because I’ve always gotten out and closed it immediately.

Speaking with the experience of 63,000 miles of incompetence, recklessness and general idiocy I feel best “qualified” to inform that there is a warning for this which for some reason extinguishes itself if you continue to be ignorant of the car’s warnings, all/most other warnings you have to acknowledge and turn off with a touch of the OK button but not the charge port door open??‍

I can also attest to the fact that there is a visual caution on the instrument panel on the steering column. I can also attest to the fact that you won’t see it when you put the car in reverse to start backing out of the garage. When it hits the garage door frame, it WILL dent your fender when it opens too far. It’s recoverable. The plastic piece on the door snaps back on and Paintless Dent Repair makes the dent disappear ($200 and not free from Ford for us Florida residents.) So I’ve herd.

LOL well at least I really did just miss it. But why would it turn off and allow you to drive off without further warning? Who's idea was that?! Kinda important part of the vehicle ?

Same pillock who forgot to include the last degree of longitude in the e-call programming which delayed delivery of my ‘Stang 2 years ago??‍
