Sure.
  • 2022 First Edition EV6 AWD
  • 59k + 4k markup
  • But traded in MME for $47k! Its just $2k below the price I paid a year ago, taking tax credit into consideration. Its had 16k miles and couple of light dents.
  • No reserve in advance.
  • Yes, EV6 have only wired CarPlay and no promises of wireless one. But I think hardware is capable of it. Anyway, it was so awful in MME so I was always using wired. No promise is better than no met promise :)
Some Hyundai Ioniq 5 owners are reporting bothersome motor noise. Have you noticed any of that in the EV6?

Nope. And you know I have good hearing :)
UPD: I paid attention, and I do hear a high-frequency coil whine when the vehicle is accelerating.
  • It is not nearly as loud as Mach-E screen buzz.
  • It is present only on strong acceleration.
  • It is very like turbine whine on my old 1.5T Honda CR-V, but quieter.
  • It is easily masked by the road noise or radio.
Overall, it does not bother me.

Eh, at least the infotainment system doesn't run at 15 frames per second. Some people prioritize different things in vehicles. Software and tech is more important to me than anything else. This includes CPU / GPU power in the infotainment system. I'll gladly eat my own foot if the i4 turns out to be worse than the mach-e at this, but it won't (already checked and did my research).

I owned a tesla, and it seems like the software is good in that, but it compromises too many other things.

Also, I checked to see if there was a buzz noise in the i4 cabin. Wasn't there. I got literal headaches in the mach e everytime I drove it. I'm driving a beater honda accord till the i4 arrives. And even in the accord there's no headache inducing buzz.
I have a Premium AWD Extended MME and have posted my tell of woe before with the IPC. I called my Ford contact and he helped to get it replaced as engineering said it was solved on current vehicles, but the IPC still buzzed, just slightly quieter lol.

I recently traded it in for a GT PE and I do not notice the buzz at all. I honestly haven't gone up close to try and listen as I don't want my brain to recognize it lol, but so far, I'm not getting those splitting headaches, even when music was playing as it seemed to just cut through it.

Another odd thing I've noticed with the GT PE is there is a bit more wind noise, but I don't know if this is a negative. I drive a rather hilly freeway to and from work everyday and in the Premium, I would get my ears crazy plugged, no matter what I did and a massive headache. I think whatever modifications they did to the GT PE have helped relieve a bit of cabin pressure, so while a bit louder, my ears don't get plugged at all nor do I get a headache!

Lastly, I don't really understand the issues with infotainment but maybe I'm spoiled living in So Cal as I can just leave my climate and heated seat on auto. I then just occasionally adjust up or down to my liking. Other than that, I purely use wireless CarPlay, which has been 95% reliable in both the Premium and now GT PE. And CarPlay has always been super lag free, and only had random bugs that are on Apple's or the app's side. Other than climate control, I'm not sure what other people are constantly accessing on the Sync system that makes this lag so horrible? Even when I used to just listen to the radio, there was never any lag switching stations or anything.

Nice to hear it. In my case, it was unreliable and the phone was constantly overheating.
Maybe the reason is lack of updates because of 1.7.1 issues.

Does that mean they gave you $9500 less than you paid for it? I'm surprised you didn't get more considering all the people reporting trading/selling for MSRP or higher.

I admit I could have been stupid. Dealership always is in a better position, have more time, more information and more people.

Did you compare Vroom or Carvana? I know it’s too late now, but I’m just wondering if the used market is starting to cool off.

Nope, this idea came to me too late. I just checked KBB, seen there is nothing there fro Mach-E, and estimated average depreciation (in a normal non-pandemic situation) that a vehicle shall have.
Taking markup and tax credit into consideration, and the fact I paid around $56k for Mach-E a year ago, approximately $6k depreciation seemed a great deal. Also I wanted badly to get rid of the buggy Job 1 Mach-E.

As I said, it is extremely hard to reason with dealership, they have staff, time and experience. They can screw you in any way they want.

Screw it. I have lost nothing. I just haven't profited from the crazy market.

Does anyone notice a noise when going over bumps? It sounds like the IPC buzzing noise, but it sounds like it flickers more when going over bumpy roads, etc. is that still from the IPC? Or another faulty capacitor elsewhere?

I can’t stand this electrical buzz noise.

It is so very unfortunate.

Hi there! This doesn't sound like an experience we want you to have with your Mach-E. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd like to see how I can assist you on my end.
