I loaded a 5.5 kW generator into the back of my Mach-e and hauled it to my son's house.
It just fit with an inch to spare.

Still 147 miles one way from Escanaba, Michigan Tesla V3 Superchargers/single dcfc ccs1 Shell Recharge location to Mackinaw City, Michigan where multiple ccs1 and Tesla Superchargers with magic Docks exist. Wait for true warmer weather.

I hope your MME has a speedy recovery. Please share pictures of MME under the northern lights. Have you ever driven your MME down to Anchorage or Homer?

I have not but I know others have. There is a section of road, about 90 miles, with spotty to no cell coverage and no electricity. There was over 100 miles with no DCFC charging until late last year and the new station is having problems so a bit sketchy. I do intend to give it a go though now that my HVBJB has been changed out for the recall. Never worried driving around town but just did not want to chance it on that section of road. We always see a few BEV’s driving though when we drive our ICE rig to Anchorage. Getting quite a few NEVI funded stations along the route so charging will not be an issue in the future.

I was commenting on adding the sticker to the vehicle. We did the trip last summer. It's not doable in this weather. The main issue for us was not Michigan. It was Wisconsin. The way we overcame that was charging at a Genesis dealer in Appleton and waiting an hour in the car with nothing to do. Only good part: it was free. I think the trip through Wisconsin would be more doable with superchargers.

Spring is here in my neighborhood. Some of us still have problems with our MMEs. Depreciation is hurting our feelings. Set those aside, Mach E is a good car and fun to drive. Let's enjoy the MME and share positive vibes. What will you do with your Mach E this spring?

Let's me be the first to start. I used my MME as it was built to be...... A domesticated Mustang to do some heavy lifting for the yard!

Road trip in April: Richmond, VA to Ashville, NC (Biltmore Estate and B&B overnight), then to Tallulah Gorge State Park, GA (hiking and car camping overnight), then to Decatur, GA to visit family, then straight back to Richmond.
