This is all making no sense. "We tested them and they should work, but we also have a new set, for no reason, that fixes the BLIS error." What does that even mean? You sent out a set that you said works, but now have a newer set, but aren't even sure why the first set isn't working as that is supposedly an old-new set that fixes the error from the original set? My heads exploding.

And now they go back to radio silence. What in the world. I just want them to keep my money and give me a working set with some sort of real ETA!

Apparently the set that we tested and worked using the different BLIS chip module than the batch that we just sent out as we just found out. We addressed this issue with our supplier. Now, we’re selecting a different BLIS module vendor for the latest one.

That said, it sounds like some of you don’t mind the wait. If that’s the case, when our team reached out to you about the refund, please tell the team that you don’t mind the wait, thanks.

I have not received a contact yet, so I sent an email as you recommended. I am not asking for a refund since I am willing to wait for the working parts.

I went to the SUMA site and requested to receive an email when the updated mirrors are in stock.

So I have an issue with the Suma mirrors.......

I have them on both the GT500 and Mach-E and have gotten so used to using the much wider view out the drivers side that when I drive any other car (been driving my parents Volvo the last week) I feel like I can hardly see anything out the left side. Even though their car has BLIS, I like to see what's in my blind spot and the Suma mirrors give me that view. Once you get used to them, it is difficult to use a standard mirror. ?

I also Installed my mirrors today and found they do not work. I am happy to wait for a replacement if that's possible as I do like the mirrors otherwise.

None of the Suma mirrors with BLIS work. The BLISS module inside the mirror is not compatible with our MME and has been discussed here quite a bit. Suma does have a compatible module now and I have tested the new mirror and been using it for several weeks and it works perfect. Surprised you installed yours. They will be shipping out the updated mirrors later in November and December.

It's disappointing that seemingly @Suma Performance hasn't emailed all their MME mirror customers to let them know the situation. ?

In a group buy, always keep up on the thread. More than a dozen buys I’ve been in have gone sideways and I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t keep up. (Kick starters too, they’re probably the worst)

No problem. I appreciate the work that goes into testing, etc and I usually follow threads but had ordered a while back and hadn’t looked recently. Followed the lighted pony thread too, but unfortunately it failed despite the added diode. Got burned on that one.
