I think build date, model, and DCFC use may be helpful if gathering data. Too hard to pol but would be interesting to ask if they press the plug release and wait before unplugging.
I have also been wondering if anybody has suffered a HVJB issue combined with never have used DCFC.

I would like to know the build dates of those experiencing these issues. Are they more or less concentrated on the early builds? Thanks.

The survey linked in the first post include a question: 2021 Job 1, 2021 Job 2, or 2022.

The spec sheet for the high-amperage (500A) white contactors is here:

https://www.te.com/commerce/Documen...DocNm=EVC500-X0000-A001&DocType=DS&DocLang=EN
Looking at this relay it is bolted, but I doubt Ford would let the dealer replace a contactor as they have no way to test the module. I also see that this contactor should be quite reliable when switching 28v, but if something goes wrong in hardware or software mean time to failure could drop to 50 cycles, which means significant numbers of failures at 10 cycles

Exactly why I suggested it. It would also be good to know how many issues were software versus hardware related.

Thanks for the poll. I’ll be curious of the results. I have a ‘22 premium AWD ER over 7000 miles since picked up in February. Have a 10,000 mile trip coming up… was going to take the MME because of blue cruise but with all these “stop safely” messages, seriously considering taking the Taycan CT…

The survey linked in the first post include a question: 2021 Job 1, 2021 Job 2, or 2022.
I was trying to see the results as the "link here" wasn't functioning and I inadvertently entered data as if I had a Mach e (not yet anyway) so if you can please delete the data I just entered. Sorry about that.

Okay, I added an embedded sheet to the first post in this thread.
I notice that the poll at the top of this thread has five "yes" responses, but there are only three "yes" responses in the survey. Presumably those responses came before I'd created the survey form. I will probably delete the poll on this thread and encourage people to use the survey.

I don't seem to be allowed to delete the thread poll. That's unfortunate. I've set the poll to close in an hour so it doesn't get in the way of the more valuable survey in the first post.
