Literally all I hear from my neighbors is how quiet the car is, it’s noticeable

Having a reverse alarm is not a bad idea but a beeper isn’t the best choice.
My neighbor’s RAV4 has a white noise generator that is a much better solution.
Is there a white noise alternative that can replace the beeper?
There indeed IS a very good white noise back-up warning product. It's made by Brigade Electronics in I think Great Britain. I've had this on three Toyotas and on my Ford Fusion. It sounds great, warns pedestrians and kids directionally (while a BEEP does not) and is easy to install. My four models have never malfunctioned.

There are even choices for a volume self-adjusting model that'll be quieter on a residential street and much louder on a busy Manhattan street.

All it needs is a ground to the chassis and a power tap into the reverse light circuit.

The URL is here:

Enjoy shopping!

Update: I installed the bypass and mostly love it. It's extremely easy to install and uninstall if you so choose. You literally just unplug the speaker and plug it into the bypass. The hardest part is just getting the undercarriage cover tucked in and out, but start to finish will takes about 5-10 minutes. I did it without any stands or jacks, but if you have one it will make it even easier.

I live in a quiet court and rent out our spare bedroom. That bedroom sits above our garage. I also leave for work at many strange hours in the middle of the morning or night (on call, shift work). So I have been wanting to bypass the reverse beeper for a while.

The only thing I don't like is it takes away the artificial humming noise as well, in forward and reverse. Now this thing is DEAD quiet. I actually prefer to keep that noise, but I hate the reverse beeper more so I am keeping it bypassed for now.

If you are an alert, safe driver you don't have a lot to worry about. Just pay attention, as you should already be. I still feel safer with the sound bypassed and the Mach E's cameras and alerts than I did in my last ICE vehicle which had no alerts and no backup camera. I've had it for a week and the only complaint is that now the clueless people who lazily stroll in the middle of the parking lots at stores are even more clueless that you are behind them. I may consider upgrading to the remote on/off at some point.

The remote on/off is only for the F150.

Can anyone confirm that the speaker is in the same location on Job 2's as it was on Job 1's? I didn't recall seeing it when I put on my hitch and have everything pulled down. I just pulled out a few screws to peek in there again and I still don't see it. I purchased the bypass kit from MegaOhm but if I can't find the speaker I can't do much with it.

(Its entirely possible I'm just looking in the wrong spot!)

The speaker is in the front driver’s side, just in front of the axle. Only one speaker provides backup beeper and UFO sound at slow speeds. See photo….

The rear speaker is not the one that generates noise for the reverse or forward motion warnings. As @Miav8r said, it’s up front. ??

Wait... its in the front? ?????? - No wonder I couldn't find it, I was looking around the back - I could have sworn the sound was coming from there! ??‍♂

interesting about the UFO sounds; I didn't know it killed that too.. Might have me re-thinking this..
