Best of Luck on the trip and have fun! All the planning seems overwhelming but actually it's not so bad once you try it.I want to thank everyone who responded to my post. I have had my Mach E for around 18 months and never used a public charging station. I had only used my 240V charging port at home so I was ignorant and very naive. I now have a much better understanding of the issues and when I eventually undertake my road trip from Maryland to Schroon Lake, I will be better prepared. FYI I did order the free Tesla adapter from Ford just in time (offer expires July 1), but it sounds like I probably don't need it. Once again, thanks for all the great info. It's a lot to digest, but all of it was very much appreciated.
PS: BTW, on a separate problem. My 12V battery recently died, which required the car to be towed to my local dealer to get it replaced. Everything is good, but another learning experience, which could have been avoided.
