VCM II speeds are directly comparable to the Mongoose + Ford adapters. Just for purposes of comparison.

Yours might be a clone. I saw a post once about this and it said the genuine ones have the VCM II embossed into the case, and have better rubber bumpers.

As long as it says it's a Bosch OEM Rotunda...that's what I'd be looking for. And anything below the $560+ Mongoose price point is getting you in the zone.

Still a good deal. I reently paid $425 shipped for a once-used Mongoose to replace one of the ones in my loaner program the the USPS says they delivered to my house but I never received.

Yeah, you may be right on that one...it's also listed as "new" and obviously they don't come from the plant with that many scratches
