I just run two cords: One 5-20 for the PL6100 and a 5-15 for the laptop (I have a 20A 5-20 circuit in my garage). ??<SNIP>
I learnt two lessons. Always have a USB flash drive that works and get a multiple outlet tap for my extension cord so I can plug the laptop into shore power.

Same exact setup as me. No issue with updates.I just run two cords: One 5-20 for the PL6100 and a 5-15 for the laptop (I have a 20A 5-20 circuit in my garage). ??
If you don't buy it, send me the link and I will.Wondering if this is a good deal? Selling for $500 CAD or about $345 USD.
Yours might be a clone. I saw a post once about this and it said the genuine ones have the VCM II embossed into the case, and have better rubber bumpers. That one looks a bit more spendy than this one. And it also has a Rotunda label so I'm assuming it's not a clone.
Still a good deal. I reently paid $425 shipped for a once-used Mongoose to replace one of the ones in my loaner program the the USPS says they delivered to my house but I never received.VCM II speeds are directly comparable to the Mongoose + Ford adapters. Just for purposes of comparison.
Maybe not as good a deal as I thought. I hadn't realized these have come down in price so much.Or this one even.
As long as it says it's a Bosch OEM Rotunda...that's what I'd be looking for. And anything below the $560+ Mongoose price point is getting you in the zone.
Yeah, you may be right on that one...it's also listed as "new" and obviously they don't come from the plant with that many scratchesYours might be a clone. I saw a post once about this and it said the genuine ones have the VCM II embossed into the case, and have better rubber bumpers.
Any discernable pattern? Job 2, Job 1, Rapid Red?APIM update showing for SOME 2021 vehicles today.
