Anybody have a newer UI than 1049
I think that Mike G and maybe others have reached Synch 1080. Not I though... yet.

Hope springs eternal... and Christmas comes soon ;) I hope that Santa brings you the new UI.
I hope so too. ?
But it’s strange some people can have it with FDRS and some not.
With OTA it’s really like a lottery.
I thought this wasn’t the case with FDRS. ?

Also noticed that the “blue cruise” symbol doesn’t show up when the lane centering kicks in.

Do you mean the circle around the car that expands after you set the cruisecontrol ? Yes we lost that quite a few months ago. I think i read somewhere that we will get it back with the BC 1.3 preparation.

Before an update can be sent to a vehicle, it has to show up in FDRS first. Once the mothership assigns the update to the vehicle, a network scan with FDRS will show the update is available. At that point, it is a lottery type of deal in the sense that you have to wait for the OTA trigger to be created by the server for the vehicle.

With FDRS, as soon as the update is assigned to the vehicle, you can install it and not wait for the
OTA process.

My post above incorrect. You can get a module update sent via the OTA process before FDRS shows it is available.

So it looks like some more people having this issue, that you don’t see the hands on wheel lane centering symbol?
It’s confusing, because you have no idea if lane centering is active.
