First little changes today. Covered the visor warning stickers with some headliner fabric and hid my EZPass transponder with a black silicone skin. The dark headliner looks so nice with the black interior. The white EZPass and the garish warning stickers were killing the vibe.

Hey Rod, just wanted to comment on the visor warning sticker. You could also remove the sticker and it only takes about 15-20 min total including removing the visor. I do this on all my cars as I'm not a big fan of those bright yellow and white stickers especially on black interiors. I have a couple of photos I took when I did mine and will post them in the "Interior Mods" forum later today if I get time.

Thanks Mark. I tried peeling them on my premium and it didn’t want to happen. So any advice you’ve got, I’m all ears.

Any updates on the stripes? Did you try any lighter colors like white or other metallic grays?

I did not do lighter. White isn’t really my thing. And this can easily be seen on many other cars. All my projects are currently on hold as I’ve put my liquid cash toward booking a 20th anniversary/second honeymoon for next year. Hopefully by the end of this month I’ll be back to working on the car. Just gotta put in the hours at work.

Loving that purple stripe for sure! Can't wait to see it all done and maybe get to see this one on the road in person this time! ? Also really digging the darker tint on the tail lights, I went lighter because I'm a chicken and didn't want them too dark. How are the tail lights at night with it?

From what I can tell, the taillights are still pretty good at night. I haven’t gotten to drive behind myself yet. But the morning after I did it I turned the lights on and walked down the airport driveway quite a ways. They were still quite visible even in the half light of 6AM. So in real dark they should be much more visible than that.

That’s a helluva plan. But only if you promise to watch out for highway debris.

I heard you are planning to take the misses to Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico to tour this 202-acre marvelous ranch where lots of ponies are made ;)

Also, tinted the taillights and marker lights today. Went with VVIVID Dark Smoke this time. It’s certainly darker. Still let’s quite a bit of light through. I’ll see how it looks after dark and adjust if need be.
Did you tint the red rear reflectors on the bottom of the back bumper? I looks like they’re gone.

Yes I did. And the side ones. All the things. Except the reverse light below the bumper. I like that one as I back up a lot and want all the light for my rear camera.

Ok cool. I’m doing it tomorrow. I want to do the taillights but Bakersfield, Ca cops don’t like it. Like at all. Reason I’m only doing 50% on the front windows as well. So I’m just doing the colored markers.
